A report, delivered by email, listing the dormant leads and past clients worth reconnecting with. For each one you get a profile built from your past emails, where every fact quotes and dates the email it came from, plus a personal follow-up email drafted from that profile.

You do, from your own inbox. Today Backdesk never sends email to your contacts. You review each draft, edit it if you like, and send it yourself, so replies come straight to you.

Today you export your mailbox with Google Takeout and upload it through a secure, one-time link we send you. One-click Gmail and Outlook connection is on the roadmap.

Anyone you've emailed recently (so current clients aren't touched), colleagues at your own brokerage, lenders, title companies and other industry contacts, newsletters and automated mail, and anyone who hasn't had a real two-way conversation with you. Anything suggesting someone wouldn't welcome outreach is flagged in their profile.

Every fact in a profile quotes the email it came from, and its date comes from that email. Anything we can't trace back to a real email is removed before you see it. Facts describe what was said at the time, so “wanted to buy last year” never turns into “buying now,” and educated guesses are labelled as inferences with a confidence level.

No. Backdesk finds the opportunities and does the preparation. You own every relationship and every conversation.

No. Your email is processed automatically. Nobody at Backdesk reads your email content unless you give written permission, for example to help troubleshoot your report.

On Amazon Web Services in US regions, including Amazon Bedrock for AI processing. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

No. Your mailbox data is used only to produce your report and is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

Your mailbox data and everything derived from it, including profiles and drafts, is deleted at the end of your engagement or within 30 days of your request, whichever comes first.

Each draft includes your identity and a way to opt out, and anyone who has asked not to be contacted is flagged. Because you send the emails, you're responsible for following the CAN-SPAM Act and honoring opt-outs. Ask us if you'd like a hand.

That's on the roadmap: outreach sent from your inbox with your approval, follow-ups handled for you, replies sorted, and warm leads handed back to you. It isn't available yet.

Yes, eventually: connecting your accounts, reviewing profiles and managing campaigns yourself. For now we work with pilot agents directly and deliver reports by email.
